Compared to Tony, Mr. Roboto was - comparatively speaking - an easier build, being constructed of blocky, angular or cylindrical shapes that slotted together like an actual Japanese tin toy robot would do. And given I had ample volumes of reference material, getting the right shapes, angles and proportions for all his parts was a lot more straightforward than with Mr. Corvell; as there was a lot less guesswork involved. With both models, thankfully, I only had to build HALF the model, vertically bisected, and duplicate all the components to create an exact mirror image - which could then be 'stitched' together up the mid line to form the complete figure. Then it was just a matter of applying the vector art UV maps to all the body surfaces, and.... well, you'll see next time....
