Welcome to the newly-opened wing of the great and masterful Cosmos Art Gallery - a place where pretty much anything can and will happen, usually without warning! First on our tour is a delightful collision between Transformers fan-art, a filksong (or parody song, if you prefer), and a kind-of-sort-of crossover exchange! During last year, Cosmos entered the FuroVision Song contest: a musical performance showcase wherein comics from all across the Comic Fury multiverse submitted a performance from their characters; whether a scene or comic story, and with actual lyrics or without! Cosmos, of course, wanted in on the action, and Peter, Timmy and Jamie (they of the B-team cast) threw on their Transformers costumes, gathered their instruments, and proceeded to rock like no Cosmosian has ever rocked before! Their performance was a segment of a filksong I'd written several years before -'Fighting with Devastator' - itself a parody of the far-more-risque Guns and Roses classic 'Love in an elevator'! Copious research of Transformers animation models allowed me to get their Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet and Devastator costumes accurate as could be; while at the same time allowing them to also look suitably 'home-made', with Prime's helmet being grafted onto Peter's signature baseball cap. I did briefly consider working up the entire song as a multi-page story, but the available timeframe (plus the fact that I was also doing freelancing stuff as well) wisely suggested that one page would make the point quite nicely, thank you very much. Ah, well, one day I might find the time....
