It's been a wild ride (both over the last month, and the last 21 years), but we've done it - we've finally reached the end of my most self-referential filksong ever! And for once, there are no Cosmos Easter egg in-jokes in the lyrics whatsoever! As such, doing the artwork for this page gave me a moment of pause at first: what to present when the words up top ain't givin' you nothing to work with? But given that there's so much comic history to harvest visuals from, I decided to bring in the key characters of the A-team cast, have them all sing the finale together; and stick each of them in one of the alternate costumes / identities they've run around in over the years? And thus it was so - Zoe and Ax, for example, have adopted their Cos-monster identities from the last Halloween Crossover Exchange; while Myra is wearing her all-purpose sword-and-sorcery-larping-cosplay-outfit, which has showed up in both Comic Fury forum artworks and several crossover exchange events. Macy has reluctantly re-donned her 'Macy Raider' outfit, which she was forced to wear to fulfill a prophecy in the Cyberverse (long story, don't ask) back in the bowels of 2001; and Gene - with much greater enthusiasm - has opted for the pirate garb he rocked out in on another forum art piece. Both Artie and Jenny have gone a more superheroic route, with Artie in his Power Rangers-esque Robot-X jumpsuit (which, unfortunately, bears rather a close resemblance to Captain Confusion's outfit - seems I wasn't as fashion design-savvy in the early 2000's as I am now), and Jenny in her Magical Scout Kitty Jen! costume from, you guessed it, a further additional forum artwork. Pheeeew. As I said at the start of this thing, it's amazing - and a little frightening how far Cosmos has come since those first fumbling steps on the 3rd of January, 1999.... but I'm glad it kept going!
