A rather interesting situation developed for this Crossover Exchange: I was gifted Snuffysam's CG-tacular fantasy / anime parody
Super Galaxy Knights Deluxe R
to work with (and duly did so).... only to discover, when the comics were released, that he had been delivered Cosmos in exchange! So during FuryCon, there were two mutually-exclusive meetings between our two comics - in
, Mizuki Sato (sporting her new-look hairstyle) crossed paths with Cosmos's Jenny Masters; while in mine, ANOTHER Mizuki Sato (sporting her old hairstyle from earlier comics, as I'd already drawn it like that and didn't have time to change it) met up with the entire Cosmos gang! Hmm... she started out with the new hairstyle, but then.... had it restyled back to the old one to be more 'recognisable to the fans' while manning the Galaxy Knights booth in my story? Yehhhhh, let's.... go with that. And speaking of booths, I deliberately kept the number of convention attendees (more on them later) and props in the first panel of this page to a minimum, so the puny size of the Knights booth inside their (much larger) allotted space was all the more obvious; suggesting just how dire the straits they were in had become. Believe you me, no-one wants to be the tiny, amateurish-looking booth tucked away in some random corner, that noooooobody goes anywhere near because, just, eww. Going with my earlier ham-fisted attempt to make both of our stories fit together, Jenny mentioned Tony's specialist booth-aid services to Mizuki; Mizuki told Cahe and Pejiba as they set up their booth; Pejiba said 'Ha! We don't need anything like that!'..... and then had to eat her words as it became clear they were on a hiding to nothing. That'll work, right?
