There's something about stop-motion animation that is just utter magic: you stick your model in front of the camera, make minor adjustments to its pose and position one frame of film at a time, and then when you play it back.... Wow! It's moving! All by itself! Jeremy and I didn't have too many opportunities to do stop-motion stuff, especially before the advent of digital cameras and free downloadable video editing software, but once we set our minds to it - oh dear me, the mayhem we wreaked. Plasticene dinosaurs eating lego explorers, bad Transformers and Star Trek skits, cavemen fighting robots: it was the next logical step for our collective (and collectively-dangerous) creativity. No-one knew what the hell we were on about half the time, but that was half the fun of it, really....
