I'm not sure where I got the idea that Jenny should be working in a stationery store, but since the rest of the cast have fairly generic retail jobs - Artie works at Tony's Comic Utopia, Gene in the department store Stuff-U-Like, Ax as a freelance sports photographer / writer, and Macy as an artist - it just seemed to fit. This story is the first time Jenny actually takes centre stage (usually she is under the tutelage of Gene and crew); as well as the first appearance of her friends Myra and Zoe, who represent wholly new wrinkles in the diverse range of body forms Cosmosians can apparently exhibit.....
