I first discovered the Crossover Exchange forum thread around the time of the Christmas exchange, and, intrigued, I signed up for it. Given that the comics were randomly assigned, I had no idea what I was going to get - and duly recieved Karabear Comics Unlimited. My experience with the Exchange system being basically nil, my first showing was a fairly simple (if adorable) affair: Jenny offering one of the main hero characters from Karabear a fun Christmas gift / peace offering. Unlike later exchanges, this was far more a piece of fan art than an actual story - fan art was primarily what I saw when I looked on the Crossover page, so that was what I did - and reflected my intention to test the waters on the whole exchange thing before I plunged in....
